I came across what I thought was a Substack called SwissPolitics (but I can’t find any trace of it now, on Substack or anywhere else) - he makes the important point that Switzerland is almost entirely free of most of the troubles besetting other western democracies - “far right” parties, a migrant crisis, currency manipulation etc. And the reason is, Swiss politicians have no real power (and as a result do not benefit very much from “lobbying” aka bribery). Everyone knows they have no power because anything they propose can be and on important issues, often is, subject to binding referenda of the Swiss electorate. That is not to say that the Swiss are not just as vulnerable to “disinformation”, but arguably at least the source for that is not their own government.

Yes, I couldn't find it either. There is a swisspolitics.org website (in German) but it seems to be addressing different questions (like health) and a little out of date anyway.

The Swiss definitely seem to have got a lot right in their political system and if it doesn't encourage lobbying then that's a big plus. The system of referenda seems to be the crucial component in stopping extreme or bad policy. Sales pitch: I should add that panocracy encourages diversity of policy so good and innovative ideas shouldn't be missed.

If a government has no professional politicians then the possibility is still there for the citizenry to become propagandised. The question is whether there will be any organisations that can muster the resources to do it. For example, social or traditional media might remain a conduit for the unscrupulous to push ideologies that seem attractive but are ultimately harmful.

Would a majority vote according to such ideological bias? I believe (but can't prove) that it's personal selfishness that would prevent it. For example, Mormons donate 10% of their annual income to their church ('tithing'). Would citizens of the UK agree to donate 10% of their income to Black lives Matter or would they put themselves and their families first?

Wayback Machine Twitter archives don't seem to work.

Has the FDA horse "veterinarian" ever been doxxed? What is her experience in treating onchocerciasis? Twatter and the X-rated site still suspend my account for suggesting ivermectin also prevent blindness in humans. That "advocates suicide", doncha know?

Yes, the wayback machine is intermittent. Don't take it personally! It worked for me the other day but it sometimes doesn't. They want money to keep it going so I'm going to give them some.

The FDA Fact Sheet (https://www.fda.gov/animal-veterinary/product-safety-information/faq-covid-19-and-ivermectin-intended-animals) as referenced in the Guardian (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/aug/23/fda-horse-message-ivermectin-covid-coronavirus) has also disappeared. Draw your own conclusions.
